This blog is a compare and contrast on 2 lawyers websites
This blog goes over what they are doing wrong, what they are doing right and how they can improve their search traffic.
All this information can be found by typing their domain name.
THIS BLOG IS INTENDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND TO UNDERSTAND SEO.
First Glance at both websites.
Here is a first glance at lawyer 1 and some of the first problems that I noticed.

Some of the first problems with this website is that the website is not a secure connection.
SSL is a security protocol that helps protect your website and its users from online threats and data breaches.
SSL provides a secure connection between the web server and web browser so that any information exchanged, such as credit card numbers or other sensitive data, remains encrypted and protected.
Without SSL, it would be possible for hackers to intercept this data and use it to access your website or the information of your users.
So would you want to stay on this website for long? Or would you trust this website? Probably not.

Lawyer 2, does a great job of securing his website, this is the first thing people are going to see so its crucial to have it.
This is the simplest way for people to trust your website and shows you care.
Difference in Content Lay out on Lawyer 1 and lawyer 2’s websites, H1-H2-H3 tags.
Why is this even a point and what the heck are H1-2-3 tags?
H1, H2 and H3 tags are HTML elements used to structure the text on your website. They are important in helping search engines understand the content of your page and its hierarchy.
The <h1> tag is usually used for the main title of a page, while <h2> to <h6> tags are used for subheadings, page sections and other points of interest within the page.
Using these tags helps to break up content into easy-to-read chunks, which users prefer and search engines can more easily index and rank, it also helps with your SEO.
Lawyer 1’s content on home page:

Some pointers on this and how he could improve.
- For all people that do this, do you think somebody will sit down and read all of this?
- I would suggest breaking this into sections and putting H2 and H3 tags that are will help you rank for Keywords.
- Examples H2-(Little Rock Arkansas personal injury lawyer)
- H2 (Legal Representation)
- H2 (Our experience working in Little Rock AR)
- You want phrases that people are searching related to what you do: Little Rock lawyer, personal injury lawyers in Little Rock, legal representation in Little Rock AR ect.
- From a visual side of things, this website could use some help.
Lawyer 2 Home Page Content:

- Looks visually appealing
- Areas he works in very clear (maybe he is ranking for these) good for keywords and helping google understand and index your website.
- Short and to the point, easy to read.
- Call to action.
- H2 tag.
Broken links and how they can tank your website.
Some of the first things I noticed going on Lawyer 1’s website was that pretty much all his links were broken.
Broken links are not only frustrating, but shows you have a massive problem on your website.
Constant broken links will tank your SEO score and over time will surely make your rankings.
Lawyer 1 pages and links.

All these are amazing webpages and will help him with organic search results and ranking.
You should always create a webpage for all the areas of product or service that you offer, it will help with your SEO and help you get ranked.
Make sure you optimize them for best SEO practices though.
Just one problem…………
The problem is that none of these pages work, all these links are broken and need to get fixed.

The most important page on his website, the contact page is broken.
also every other page.

This is EXTREMELY BAD FOR YOUR WEBSITE for OBVIOUS REASONS.
Bad for ranking, SEO, and your customers interaction before they meet you.
Lawyer 2 has all fixed links and has a great contact page!

SEO scores for Lawyer 1 and Lawyer 2’s websites.
I ran a domain overview that will show me the scores for each website and how they are ranking.
Here are the results.
Lawyer 1 domain overview:

Results speak for themselves, although he has a fantastic domain authority score and is doing amazing with backlinking.
Lawyer 2 domain overview:

Domain score is decent, but as far as search traffic he isn’t doing to much better.
Reasons they are getting low search traffic.
- Google updates.
- Google my business allowing people to directly call them.
- Competitor with better site and SEO score.
- Low on keywords.
I’m presuming the lawyers get a lot of referrals so there is probably lots of traffic you don’t see.
Keyword count on each website.
What are keywords and phrases?
Keywords and phrase are the words that people are searching when they are trying to find something
EXAMPLES:
“divorce lawyer in Little Rock AR”
“injury lawyers in Bella Vista AR”
“personal injury lawyers near me”
ect…
Lawyer 1’s keyword Count:

Even though his website performance is not the best and his links are broken, he still has a good amount of keywords.
Lawyer 2 keyword count:

Lawyer 2 has a better more functional website but he is low on keywords.
This means there are less terms and phrases he will be ranking for and come up on the first page of google.

Here is a website performance review on each website.
